El perro negro es a popular character when I arrived in town. He already had 70 years of playing music behind him, and he had the largest family in town, with 39 kids and over a hundred grand kids.
One of the first times I met him he played with Chad and Thomas Seibel.
El mambo
El mambo, as many musicians do, was just a colorful as any. Even throughout his eighties he would travel along the Caribbean from town to town to sell the Maracas he made with fruits from his Maracas tree.
